Rosu Studio ("we", "our", or "us") operates the rosustudio.net website and the StreakLife mobile application (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our Service.

By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. We take your privacy seriously and are committed to being transparent about our data practices.

Information you provide directly

  • Account information: When you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google to create and identify your account.
  • Habit data: Habits you create, completion logs, streaks, and other data you enter into StreakLife.
  • Contact messages: If you contact us via our website form or email, we store your name, email, and message content to respond to you.

Information collected automatically

  • Usage data: Basic app usage analytics to understand which features are used. This is aggregate, non-personally-identifiable data.
  • Device information: Device type, operating system version, and app version for crash reporting and compatibility purposes.

Information we do NOT collect

  • We do not collect or store your Google account password.
  • We do not use advertising networks or third-party tracking pixels.
  • We do not collect precise location data.
  • We do not sell your data to any third party.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect solely to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
  • Authenticate your account and keep your data secure
  • Sync your habit data across devices via Firebase
  • Respond to your support requests and messages
  • Understand app usage to improve features and fix bugs
  • Maintain the leaderboard feature (your display username and XP total are visible to other users)

3. Data Storage and Security

Your habit data is stored securely in Google Firebase Firestore, a cloud database provided by Google. Firebase encrypts data in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access is controlled by Firebase Security Rules that restrict data access to the authenticated account owner.

We take reasonable technical measures to protect your information, but no system is completely secure. If you become aware of any security issue, please contact us immediately at contact@rosustudio.net.

4. Third-Party Services

StreakLife uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

Our website may use Google Fonts, which requests fonts from Google's servers. This involves your IP address being sent to Google. For full GDPR compliance, consider using a browser extension to block Google Fonts requests.

5. Leaderboard and Public Data

If you participate in StreakLife's leaderboard, your chosen display username and XP total are visible to other users of the app. Your full name, email address, and habit details are never shared publicly. You may opt out of the leaderboard at any time by contacting us.

6. Children's Privacy

Our Service is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it promptly. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has used our Service, please contact us.

7. Your Rights (GDPR — EU/EEA Users)

If you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have the following rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

  • Right of access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

9. International Data Transfers

Your data is stored on Google Firebase servers, which may be located outside your country of residence, including outside the EU/EEA. Google provides appropriate safeguards for international data transfers as required by GDPR (Standard Contractual Clauses).

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
