Our story
Small studio.
Big intentions.
Rosu Studio is a one-person indie mobile studio based in Romania. We build Android apps that are beautiful, fast and actually useful — one feature at a time.
Why we exist
Apps should earn
your attention.
Too many apps are cluttered, distracting and hollow. We build the opposite: apps that are quiet, beautiful and deeply useful. Every pixel earns its place.
Rosu Studio started with a personal frustration — no habit tracker felt right. Either they were too simple or gamified in a cheap way. StreakLife is our answer: a habit tracker that genuinely respects your time and intelligence, while making progress feel tangible and rewarding. From there, the pipeline grew: a swipe-voting game and a daily statistics game, each built with the same care.
Our principles
How we build.
Every screen is crafted before a line of code is written. We believe beautiful software works better.
Performance is a feature. We optimize relentlessly — every interaction should feel instant.
We collect only what each app needs to work, we say exactly what that is, and we never sell data.
All our apps are free to download, with no required subscriptions to get real value.
We ship, then keep improving. Every update is a chance to make the app a little more right.
Our roadmap is driven by users, not assumptions. Talk to us — we genuinely listen.
History
How we
got here.
Frustrated with existing habit trackers, started sketching what StreakLife could look like: a habit tracker that actually gamifies progress — no subscriptions, no fluff.
The first version of StreakLife, built in Flutter. Core loop: habits → streaks → XP. Firebase backend, Google Sign-In. Used daily by its own developer ever since.
The layered avatar system arrives — outfits, hair and accessories — along with the Flames currency shop.
StreakLife hits a polish milestone and enters closed testing on Google Play. Rosu Studio is formalized, the website launches, and two more apps — Would You Ever and Guess the Percent — enter development.
